STEP 1: SPOT CLEAN

STEP 2: MAKE YOUR SINK & MICROWAVE SHINE
Give your sink a lemon bath by squeezing a full lemon and adding a tablespoon of vinegar. Steam clean your microwave by using a microwavable bowl with 1/2 water and lemon and heat for 1-2 minutes. Wipe clean!
STEP 3: WIPE FROM TOP DOWN
Always wipe from the top down so that you do not have to double clean. Clean cabinets, appliances, counters and lastly floors!
STEP 4: PUT UNUSED APPLIANCES AWAY.
Depending on the layout and you counter space, put only appliances that you use daily on the kitchen top. The rule of thumb here is 3. Store them unused appliances under the sink or in the cabinets.
STEP 1: GET RID OF DUST
Use a microfiber mitt or cloth to trap dust on coffee tables, shelves, cabinets & picture frame. Slip an old pillowcase over the blades of ceiling fans and use it to pull off any dust.
STEP 2: HIDE ANY CLUTTER
Hide clutter in baskets or boxes for instant room appeal and ease. Keep toys, extra blankets and pillows away.
STEP 3: PICK UP PET HAIR & LOOSE STRANDS
Use a lint roller/brush over your couch, lampshades, and rugs. All the hair and strands will stick on the lint roller therefore you won't have to use a dustpan or do extra work.
STEP 4: MAKE IT COZY
Fluff up your pillows and cushions, light up some candles or even drape some blankets to give it that cozy feeling.
STEP 1: SPRAY, SPRAY, SPRAY!
Spray your favorite cleaner on the sink, mirror, toilet and the floor. Let is sit for 5-8 minutes for the cleaning solution to work its magic! Then, spray the counters.
STEP 2: WIPE IT SPARKLY CLEAN
Start wiping from the cleanest surface (mirror) to the dirtiest (sink) using a wet cloth or paper towel. Remember to clean any grime, mold or hard water deposits around the drains and sink.
STEP 3: CLEAN THE TOILET AND LIGHTS
Start by brushing inside the bowl first then the tank, seat and the floor last. Use disposable wipes that you can trash right after using. The switch plate is the first and last thing your guest will see when using the bathroom. Remove and stains or dirt with a wet cloth.
STEP 4: LIGHT THE CANDLES
Light up some candles, put some fresh flowers in a vase. Don't forget some fresh towels!
STEP 1: SUCK UP DIRT
Remove any debris, dust by the front door and hallway by using a vacuum. Avoid using the mop, as it takes time to dry and you don't want extra dirt to stick to the floor! Keep the deep cleaning for the next day.
STEP 2: MAKE A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION
Place a floor bin near your door, use some pretty floor mats. Get rid of any unnecessary clutter in the hallway.
